I appreciate it, but its not a lack of understanding when they forcefully take off your clothes.

This guy had 4 counts of reckless driving. If he was reasonable, he would have stopped at 2! He continued to drive recklessly after the cops got him the first 3 TIMES! He does not care or respect anyone.

Denial is nice and has its place but it minimizes the traumatic impact this has made to my life.

Really...

The best thing you can do is to communicate with him... in a nice, kind, compassionate, and understanding way......


If you do that...


He WILL be receptive and understanding to your thoughts and feelings about all of this.

If you understand the definition/diagnosis of a narcissist you would also understand that your advice could have dire consequences. A kind compassionate person is an easy target to them.

You need to tell people in real life. What if he comes up with false accusations against you. If hes likeable and believable and can sway people, what makes you think he wont? And then all of a sudden you have this explosive story against him and what he did to you....you would be more likely to be believed if someone else can back the fact that you told them about it, you would seem less reliable and it would seem more like a case of “he said she said” if you don’t tell anyone.

Not only that but other people could protect you. Don’t be alone in this. You don’t have to be.

Also - Being kind and loving towards someone will show them how you wish to be treated.

Doing that will set the "tone" of discourse.


I guarantee that the man who the OP sees as "demonically possessed" is simply acting in line with how the OP sees him... in line with the "tone" of the discourse.


For instance...


If you set the "tone" of a conversation that you have with someone..... by being really rude and unkind to them.... it would be extremely easy for them to react to that in the exact same way, for you have already set rudeness and unkindness as the tone of the interaction....


But if you instead acted kind and loving towards the person.... you set the "tone" of the interaction between you two as kind and loving.... and the interaction would be geared to flow in that direction.



What the OP needs to do is "set the tone" of the interaction between her and him.... to be kind and loving.


I mean... we've all experienced this right?... We get all angry with someone... and as a result... they act angry in return... simply because you are treated them with anger.




WHAT OP NEEDS TO DO -


STEER the direction of the interaction with this man, OP.


Steer the interaction from one of fear, hate, etc..... to kindness and loving-ness.

And I realized something just now.



The reason why that man is treating you the way he has been treating you.... is probably because he resents the way you have been treating him.


You probably haven't been nice enough to him.



All of those posts that I wrote above are entirely true.



He resents you for not treating him with kindness... and for treating him like he is some kind of demonically possessed person.... like you have called him in this thread.



I GUARANTEE....... GUARANTEE!!!!!!...... that if you threat him with only kindness, unconditional love, compassion, and understanding?..... He WILL do the same in return.
