I have investigated various problematic issues in the course of my life, and while increased finances and other sorts of assistance can affect the process for the better, these are but "safety nets" and relieve the symptoms of the problem, instead of addressing the root cause. Root cause is always behaviour, and it is in our power to change our own behaviour. Therefore, take heart when the world crumbles around us, as it is likely to do, because we can always change our view of it, and we can - if we choose - always regard obstacles as opportunities to learn and to correct our "mistakes", which are really just ways of learning. Hello AC, and thank you for participating. The digestive tract digests food, but it also relevant to "digesting" emotions. If emotions have not been fully digested, one gets pent up and feelings are suppressed by the self. This can give rise to problems in the "real" digestive tract.

The quality you are invited to increase is CONTENTEDNESS in the sense of not needing to prove yourself or make extra effort or go out "on a limb". If you are aware of your own self-worth, you will no longer do this. Here are some questions which may help:

Which abyss are you about to fall into?
Do you ever provoke others unnecessarily to get a reaction, or do something extreme to get a short-lived ‘thrill’?
If so, what is the motivation behind this?
Do you take your dreams seriously?
Do you write them down?
Do you ask yourself what message they are trying to give you?
How could you further develop the qualities of sensitivity and honesty?
What if losing your identity or losing your ‘ego’ was actually a powerful sign of progress towards creating a new experience?
What if everyone in the world realized that they were part of Divine Creation and did not need to prove who they are?

Hello dear AC and the other poster who is also doing some public speaking: you have chosen 46, and this invites you to increase your sense of RESPONSIBILITY. I am also inspired to say that if you know the absolutely 100 percent VALUE of what you are saying, and that it has positive intent and will benefit others, then you will have great confidence in speaking about it. How does your consideration for others prevent you from looking after yourself?
How are you inwardly shaken, and how long will you wait before you speak openly?
In what way are you consciously ‘selling’ or disempowering yourself?

Are the two sides of yourself – the fluid, intuitive ‘female’ side and the active, energetic ‘lion’ or ‘male’ side – in harmony with each other or out of balance?
Does ‘security’ exist?
Could ‘insecurity’ simply be a lack of understanding that life is a series of ever changing-cycles which we ourselves instigate to fulfil our potential?
What if everyone showed their feelings all the time with the purpose of building a network of honesty, trust and intimacy around the world?

Thank you! The person who was supposed to run the meeting and speak broke a hip a few days ago, so since I'm next in command, it's my job to step up. I'm not naturally a great speaker. There will be important people at this meeting, most I've never met. But I will hold the gavel and stand up there and do something I've NEVER done in my life. I've had to speak before publicly, but I've never run a meeting.

Many have stepped up to help prepare me. I do more preparing tonight at the venue.

I figure I will just walk into it. Expectations will not be high because I'm not the speaker they really wanted to hear. I'm a replacement. If expectations are low, perhaps I can, even in a mediocre way, give everyone a good meeting.

Well dear Ac: that does sound like suddenly having to take on more responsibility than you expected. Yet nothing happens by chance and it is probably time for you to try on some bigger shoes for size and "think big". Don't worry about what other people might expect, because it works both ways - nothing happens by chance for them either. Everything happens in divine timing, even if there may be some unpleasantness or challenge involved.

I have found that when speaking before people, or holding a seminar, that any plans I made always had to be adapted, because something would suddenly flow in a different direction, or suddenly there was something different to address. This sort of flexibility is easy / just flows if we follow what the "inner voice" or intuition tells us.

Just know that you are at exactly the right place at exactly the right time with exactly the right listeners to arrive at the best outcome (even if that "outcome" is more of a learning process for all, rather than a roaring "success"). Wishing you an interesting and productive experience.

I am around most of today, Sunday July 31st, and will look in periodically to see if anyone has posted here.

And just a reminder that problems, whatever they are, are not permanently solved through outward circumstances, such as more money, or more help, or mosre distractions of any kind, or becoming a hermit, or committing suicide. Problems are solved as a result of changes in BEHAVIOUR. We may sometimes think we know the outcome of a situation, or we think we can assess the boundaries or limits of our strength or "range" or potential, yet if we are already certain about this then we are definitely limiting ourselves, our experiences and our relationships. It is impossible to know another person; it is only possible to discover more about them. Here are some questions which might open some doors for you:

Have you chosen to travel in an ‘empty’ land?
Is it really empty?
What actually exists already, but which you have not yet focussed upon?
Is it possible that your view could be limited?
What would happen if you regarded your greatest fear as your greatest opportunity?
What if the fact that you fear something actually pulls that thing into your experience?
What must die so that you can start to journey is a new direction?
How will the world change when everyone is if aware of the abundance of opportunity?

Hey CC, you know, I don't understand vibrations or cosmic energies or any of the higher knowledge stuff. I'm university educated, but when it comes to subjects like this, I don't know a lot. But I have continually come to this thread when you have offered up and submitted a quantity. Quantities I can understand. I love and excel in math.

Your words that I made bold above are so true. You have said them again and again in the thread. Problems really are solved through a CHANGE in behavior. I took your advice to heart. Now, if I experience negative feelings that trouble me too much, I do a different and sometimes opposite thing. Recently when stewing about a personal problem, I put on a favorite funny movie. I have a go-to movie that's hilarious and even though I've seen it many many times, it still makes me laugh. "What about Bob?"

And it didn't fail to bring me out of a negative spiral. I forced myself out of a depressive train of thought and feelings by changing my behavoir from anger or depression to laughter and hopefulness. It took a movie to do it, but I figure, whatever works.

This advice has helped me also at work. I might be working on a problem (I'm a troubleshooter at work) and deep in thought but I'm not seeing the answer, so I'll do something different.
One time I got up and went for a walk and spent the entire time appreciating whatever I saw. When I got back from the walk, BAM, the answer to the problem came flooding into my brain. I went from this problem all consuming me to a totally different non-consuming appreciation of dandelions next to the sidewalk outside the building at work.

Again, if something works, it works!

But your message is two-fold. One is changing behavior and the other is increase in consciousness. Consciousness can mean a lot of things. Are you referring to consciousness of the state of being or of the realm I don't understand that has vibrations and energies or maybe consciousness of the feelings and thoughts of others. Can you specify?

You are so correct about the change of behavior, and when I've come here with a problem and a quantity, it was right on the money. So I can understand better, could you please help me understand specifically what you mean by increase of consciousness?
