Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77125760 E-7 over 20 is about $4,500 per month base pay. If I were the President, I would restore his E-7, grant a direct commission as either O-3 or O-4 in the Navy reserves. This would not require Congressional approval. Then encourage him to assume his commission for a 12 to 18 month “last tour”. This would grant him the pay grade based on his last grade successfully held. It would be a nice way for the Navy to apologize for the crap that they put him through. |
