Another child lost their life because of a PIT BULL dog.

Horrifying and so very, very sad for the family as well as the owners of the dog. Can you imagine how they feel? It's terrible all the way around. That poor baby!

I spent seven years as volunteer in a pet rescue society. Our manager had very definite opinions about certain things. We took in any dog that needed to be taken in, and most were later adopted. No pit bull was ever adopted from that society.

I have strong feelings about pitts, too. There are some wonderful, perfect, loving pitt bull family members, who would not cause harm to anyone or anything.

Until one day they wake up, and that's the day. They lose it and go after a dog, a child, an adult even. Nobody knows when this will happen, how many years the dog will be "good" until it goes bad. There is no predicting. I have dogs. I adopted a number of dogs. Is one a pitt bull? No. Period.

My friend had an Akita, beautiful intelligent powerful dog. They need lots of exercise, but perfect family dogs even around new borns.

The animal shelters around the USA are filled to capacity with pit bulls. The idiots running these shelters actually adopt out these fierce animals into family settings.

That should be a crime, they were bread to be catch dogs to catch badgers , bulls , hogs and what not. These dogs as I said are work animals, they have their place and are needed as working animals to corral wild hogs, badgers and things like that. But like a work mule you don't bring your work animal into the house with your children.

Pit Bulls started in Europe with the rat terriers who would go into holes or anywhere to catch and kill rats, *the plaque creators. These dogs were too small to bring down things like badgers, they were game but too small.

The solution was to breed the rat terrier with the original English bulldogs who were used to bring down bulls, they would hold and control the bulls for the farmers.

The cross breeding of the very game and brave rat terriers to the very game and brave English bulldogs created a much larger and stronger breed of animal. They were then called Bull Terriers.

Now for the snowflakes who don't know, the current day English bulldogs have been so line breed and inbreed that they are weak physically and mentally. Most are a walking vet bill.

From the Bull Terrier in or around the late 1800's Americans then selectively line breed these Bull Terriers to become the American Pit Bull dog, again CATCH DOGS, breed to CATCH AND KILL their prey.

They were used to bring badgers out of holes, rat killing contest and eventually game dog on game dog where they were matched against one another in a PIT. They are breed for one purpose, TO KILL. When they get into that kill zone it is almost impossible to stop them, they seem to be immune to pain.

They are not now nor have they ever been a family pet. They are a tool like a donkey used to plow fields, or mules used to protect the goats from predators, they have their purpose as a tool.

Whether they realize it or not, the people who constantly defend pit bulls, are displaying behavior that moronically parallels those who try and claim that black people do not commit more violent crime, per capita, when in fact they overwhelmingly do. Does that make all black people terrible people? Obviously No. Does that make All pit bulls terrible. No, however, Pit Bulls make up only 6% of the dog population, but they’re responsible for 68% of dog attacks and 52% of dog-related deaths.

These are a few of the 3700 dogs that were executed, 95% were pit bulls! They piled them up and had an anonymous photographer take pictures to show their new granted authority and now are trying to have the images scrubbed! I saw the images when they first came out, and now most of them are gone, there were much bigger piles and all were pit bulls.

How much was known about the dog's history and temperament before it was placed in a home with a young child is unclear.

But the danger of pit bulls is well established. Earlier this year, a 7-year-old girl in southwest Detroit was pulled from her bike and killed by a pack of pit bulls that had gotten loose from a neighbor's home. I hate to say this about any dog, but I do believe that pit bulls have been bread to kill and it is an instinct that is deep in them.

A friend who lived on my property had one. The pit bull was treated like a baby and loved from the time he was 6 weeks old. My dog was a mixed breed bull dog/yellow lab that was a huge big baby. The pit was always going after my dog and one day my dog got the shits of it and ripped the pit bull's throat and killed him.

Thankfully that was the first and last time my dog hurt anything and he lived until he was 16. However, I would never have another dog with the name bull in it because I could see even the instinct of my own dog that was not a full bread beast, was to kill when threatened.

Pit Bull Owners fall into at LEAST ONE or more of these categories:

1. They receive some sort of Govt. welfare.
2. They live in a trailer.
3. They have tattoos.
4. They smoke weed.
5. They're unemployed.
6. They don't have a father in the picture.
7. They've been ditched by a husband.
8. They have no college education.
