The Senators are not taking up the junk bills the House Democrats are sending up. What you have to realize is these bills are all about riling up their base. So they draft a bill that is extreme or stupid and they know has no chance of ever becoming law, just so they can tell their nitwit constituents, "I was behind that. Sorry it didn't go nowhere."

Congressional democrats always refuse to negotiate with Republicans as Congress must do and because they control the majority they pass bills that they know will fail in the senate. I mean if we have 100 bills passed by House Democrats that were all about appeasing the free shit army, giving all kinds of benefits to illegal aliens, taking away American citizens' guns, making "hate speech" a thing, making it illegal to mock politicians, making it illegal to offend someone, allowing illegal aliens to vote, creating tax brackets based on farts per hour, giving "minority-owned businesses" a huge advantage over other "non-minority" people who are equally struggling to start their own business...etc etc etc...

Then yeah, as a Republican, I'd sit back and do nothing either in response to all of that. Because it's all pure, unadulterated bullshit.
