I will only go to Cozumel -- an island off the southeast coast. People are very nice, but you still have to be smart about where you go.

I am almost phobic about drugs for myself- even over the counter stuff, but I think decriminalizing drugs is worth trying. I seriously doubt that any more would use them than do now. If there is a huge upswing of addicts dying in the streets, going insane in public, etc., then the law can be reversed. It's crazy not to try it.

Cozumel and Chichen Itza in the Yucatan were the last places my family went to on vacation there in 2008.
