This wasn't a cartel murder. This was yet another order from the Mormon Manson, via his now-grown children.

This was a retaliation killing (all this "cartel accidentally shot them" is disproven by the fact that three separate cars leaving at separate times were systematically annihilated). The only question is which warped offspring of Ervil and his brother are feuding again. Someone just did something major, obviously - sold someone out.
