This undeniably confirms that you're full of shit. Genuine Psychics and intuitives (I know several) do not waste their energy on what others think, or whether or not they are publicly shown respect. It's irrelevant to their work. They give readings purely out of kindness or when it's needed, even if it's not reciprocated. Receiving respect isn't a qualifier. Now, I have no doubt that doom is upon us, one way or another. I don't think it takes anyone with special abilities to come to that conclusion. However, you're an attention seeker, nothing more. If you'e truly interested in being an intuitive, you need to work on your ego if you want people to take you seriously or listen to what you have to say.
