It can't have anything to do with you doing anything!!!! Do you see that? Lest any man or woman should boast. He didn't come to heal "well people"...he came for the sick and diseased people that need Him. Including all the drug addicts and alcoholics and...etc.. Living has taught me one thing; nothing is certain...except salvation through Jesus Christ! |

You can never "be good enough" so those preaching "you can't do this and that and be Christian" are one, denying their own sin, and two denying God's grace. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31448005 She is spot on. No, the word of God disagrees: Hebrews 10: 26,27 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31448005 She is spot on. I can’t stand the self-righteous ‘Christians’ that love to judge and condemn people for their sins, or tell people they’re going to Hell for all eternity for their sins... We are all sinners. None of us have the right to judge in God’s name, and in fact to do so, or to speak in His name, is sinful in itself. And reading the Bible does not make you an expert on God and His will. At all. How many of the ‘gays(or whatever) will burn in hell’ types have committed fornication themselves? Or told a lie, or hurt someone out of anger? It’s equally sinful in God’s eyes. These people do Christ and God a disservice by making Christianity look bad. I disliked Christianity until I realized that Christ was nothing like how these vengeful Christians portray Him. He is far more loving and forgiving than people realize. Last Edited by Gabriel~ on 11/06/2019 04:09 PM I LOVE GOD AND CHRIST! <3 We’re all in the same game; just different levels Dealing with the same hell; just different devils |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78135120 United States 11/06/2019 05:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So the one thing about being a true Christian is that you are forgiven for your sins, however Jesus said go now and sin no more. So if you know what you are doing is a sin, and you continue to do it. Are you truly forgiven or maybe you just think you are. Food for thought. Quoting: Restore.the.republic Do you really think that the adulteress that Jesus told to "sin no more" never sinned again? Seriously? Even a true believer will sin in thought, word, deed, or by omission, every day of their life. In fact, if a "Christian" tells you that he is "without sin", the same is a liar and the truth is not in him. The wisest mortal man who ever lived, King Solomon, said this: "For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin" Ecclesiastes 7:20 Next, you're going to tell us that you no longer sin... Right? |

I'm not dismissing anything. I have an open mind and rarely judge. I fully understand what Jesus supposedly said. I just don't see any evidence that any "Christians" follow what he said! I see racism and hate in ALL those who CLAIM to follow Jesus. This isn't my interpretation, this is historical. Sorry. Even my own parents claimed to be "Christians", and spent every Sunday at church..my accountant father actually volunteered to do the books...were hateful racists. Again, the problem is that those who CLAIM to be "Christians" don't act like it! You can justify that all you want, but those who don't identify as such can see the OBVIOUS hypocrisy! Do I know EVERY "Christian"? No, but the ones I have met are NOT as impressive as they believe they are. Can't you see the hate on this very site, perpetrated BY "Christians"? Do you agree that racism is hate? Do you agree that "Christians" shouldn't JUDGE others? When I write judge, I'm NOT referring to HELPING others. "Christians" have proven that one thing has nothing to do with the other. |
