It seems to me that the powers that be want to sell us on the simulation theory, and not parallel universe theory. I suspect because we'd be more apt to believe there is no God in a simulation situation. Versus a multiverse where God would be proven yet again.

Didn't Jesus say that heaven has many rooms? Which could lead me to think of many parallel realities.
