Truth is, once you are an adult in the real world without the protection of mommy and daddy, you will get knocked around and you will have to defend yourself. Better to learn that before you reach adulthood than to be coddled until mommy and daddy aren't there anymore and you have to grow up really fast and learn to do things nobody ever taught you. When did kids stop learning there are no safe spaces in the real world?
