tell us another story about the olden days grandpa
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33132117 Ok. Back then we could play outside all day long and completely unsupervised by adults. We were polite to adults and behave well, or our parents would hear about it and there would be hell to pay. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75995723 I agree. In those days kids were taught boundaries and expected to respect them. Punishment ensued if boundaries were broken. Some punishments consisted of being housebound for a certain length of time, usually 2 weeks to one month, depending on the offense. Not seeing friends outside was a major punishment as they weren't allowed visiting rights. Withholding an allowance for x-amount of time hurt just as badly.
