When the state of education - at both the grad-school and college levels - is being discussed, keep in mind that most teachers, professors and administrators are of the sociopolitical left, not right. Liberalism/leftism in academia is surrounded by liberalism/leftism in much of the larger society.

All those left-leaning biases at least have made the nation so much nicer, so much kinder, so much more caring, more compassionate, more humane and ethical.
