Drones are disposable. They are relatively low cost and unmanned and replace a very expensive jet and pilot in risky recon missions and eliminate the need to retask expensive and critical satellites doing higher priority work.
No need to start a full war over a drone. They are ‘nothing’ in the big picture.

It's an arms race and once we lose top secret tech, we immediately authorize more funding and it's always given to the same company. If these drone companies are trying to create profits, which they are; then it would be in their best interest to create bugs in their own systems. It pays huge money every time a drone is lost to the enemy. Who owns these drone companies? Likely the same people who are forcing their risky deployment. Trust The Plan... The Yinon Plan Bingo. Sure we'll provide security AT COST but they pay 100 percent in advance and get bill for the price of any deployment. Our Soldiers aren't mercs so there should not be profit involved but all of their salaries etc should paid by the country we occupy/ protect.
