this happened with my sister and i. They even tried to separate my oldest daughter from me by taking her to family events that I was completely excluded from. I kept telling my dad not to take her (my daughter) places I am not welcome and he said I can't keep her away from the family. My mom would be there too.

I saw the video, I know all too well. The weird thing is how the script has flipped. I am now the golden child and my dad hates my sister's husband, insists she needs to divorce him. He even wants to buy a gun and my husband and I tell him he doesn't need one, we are discouraging him. My sister's husband still works for my dad and it's just weird how he's paranoid of him but they were trying to find his will.

After he had his stroke he's still the same but different, he even accidentally calls me by my sisters name. BUT now that I understand this a little better as an adult, I know how to keep my life in control without him trying to cause damage. When he tries he get's really angry and has a tantrum because he can't. I want to buy a new toilet and he won't let me, he keeps insisting he will buy it and doesn't. If we buy the toilet without him I don't know what he's going to do. At least it's not big major drama with him anymore but still, the potential is there.

Now he is way less inhibited with sharing his evil ideas after a stroke. I know too much, stuff I would rather not know now.
