I think you're old enough to make up your own mind about what you need to do. I still have copies of the letters I wrote to Congressmen trying to get fluoride removed from tap water since the early 90s. I got put on Prozac (Yuck) and found out it's basically fluoride. The point of the OP is that no generation is better than another when it comes to treating the planet with respect. After we read the paper, we'd line our pet cages with it, or use it for packaging...instead of styrofoam peanuts. When we finished our milk, we'd put the milk bottle out in the milk box at the front door, yes, we'd return it, so they could refill it!...talk about "recycling". When we dried our clothes we'd hang them "out to dry"! ...talk about "wind and solar power". When the bus stopped to drop us off, it wouldn't be out front of our houses, and our parents wouldn't be waiting with their big ass SUV's running to drive us the rest of the way home! When we watched TV it would be 3 main channels and VHF IF it came in, and we would all sit in the living room watching it together, as a FAMILY! We had 1 electrical outlet in each room, not 3 freaking power strips in each room overloaded with laptop cords, cell phone chargers, TV's etc. ...Talk about a small carbon footprint!
