The Dems shot themselves in the foot when they promoted cultural diversity. By doing so, they divided their own base.

It may work to elect Representatives in places where there are enclaves -- a Muslim Rep elected in Detroit, black Rep elected in Chicago, gay Rep elected in San Francisco, Latino Rep elected in Miami, etc.

But it will not work for electing a President. In fact, it works against them.

Nominate a man, then on election day, the feminists stay home. Nominate a white, and the POCs stay home. Nominate a Latino, and the blacks stay home, and vice versa.

They're also split politically. By going further to the left, they've created yet another division in their own party.

Their voting base runs from center-left to far-left. The far-left will not vote for a center-left candidate. And center-left voters are leaving the party in droves because catering to the far-left is scaring them away.
