NEVER had to raise a hand, belt or anything to my son.

The one, and ONLY, time I got frustrated with him was while getting him dressed for pre-school one morning and he was wiggling about (I didn't know he had to go to the bathroom).

I went to give him a tap on his bottom as I had told him several times to stop wiggling about (it was more about frustration I was having with other things) and he immediately smacked me back on the arm.

I looked into his eyes, as I was on my knees while dressing him, and started to cry as I grabbed him and said, "I am SO sorry... Daddy didn't mean to hit you. I will NEVER hit you, ever again".

Because it was at that moment that I realized that I outweighed him by 200+ pounds. That I had more knowledge and school than him by over 30+ years. That I had the ability and autonomy to communicate effectively to explain anything to him, but as for this? This wasn't necessary. It was bullying.

This child trusted me, counted on me, believed in me and more. And to this day, I HAVE NEVER LIED TO HIM and when asked, "What won't Daddy every do to you?" His reply is, "Lie to me". And when asked, "Why?" he responds, "Because you love me".

Now... 16 years old next week and... Straight A's and honors (on his own accord). Band and musician selling his own digital music online. Never said a curse (again, his own promise made to himself), no desire to do drugs, smoke or drink, even when offered at holidays in celebration. He also never judges anyone or holds a grudge. Amazing soul.

So people hitting their kid and THIS was in front of the camera and teachers? Then God only knows what goes on at home and EVERYONE knows that a black woman like her, that type and personality and energy, NEVER let things go. Hell, that bitch doesn't know how to discipline and where to draw the line and that kid probably got punished from when he got home, to additional beatings and non-stop yelling. Hell, she probably yells each and every day and as a result, he takes that frustration out on others when he gets to school.
