I saw that before midnight and it was mind blowing seeing that imagery of how much of that Nation is on fire.
That is hideous and so wide spread.
Then to find out there were radical arsons setting them off.
Terrbile, so terrbile a loss of animals and more than likely insects as well.
That ground being so scourched.
Over reaching EPA green garbage rules.
 Quoting: Wondering Mind

that picture of the nation on fire is unbelievable.

We have almost the same land mass as the whole of Europe.
Can you imagine the news coverage if the whole of Europe was on fire?

Strange how its not getting a lot of international coverage.

I think it might be because our P.M is into the Climate Change thing so we're being globally ignored for it?

Baldivis, a Perth suburb just East of us in the foothills, is up in flames.... taken several buildings and properties and threatens the Graham Farmer Freeway, a key link between North and South...

The fear, pain and concern around Australia's genocide are being harvested.
The dark side needs pain to live.
A billion animals burnt to death or dead of fumes. Tomorrow 10 000 camels are to be culled.
These are sentient beings.
The harvest of darkness is enormous.

And on an interesting note no news of the fire in the daily mail for a few days.
All being on the mid East situation.
Today no less then 7 stories on the Merle Harry pantomime. They are leaving the UK and starting a huge climate change 'charity'.

We have been heavily chemtrailed for several days now. Everyone scratchy.

May 2029 be gentle. May there be peace in the storm we are in.
I wish Harmony, Love, Truth and Justice for all my brothers and sisters. With the United forces of the silent vibrations of our thoughts, we are strong, healthy and happy thus making a link of universal fraternity..

But some, including Alex Jones’ conspiracy site InfoWars that spreads climate change denialism, falsely reported that “nearly 200 people” were arrested in Australia for “deliberately” starting bushfires.

That would be a distortion of the facts. Police in New South Wales released a statement disclosing that since Nov. 8, 2019, 183 people, including 40 juveniles, have been charged with 205 bushfire-related offenses. Of the 183, 24 people have been charged with deliberately setting fires. According to police, of the 183, another “53 people have had legal actions for allegedly failing to comply with a total fire ban,” and an additional “47 people have had legal actions for allegedly discarding a lighted cigarette or match on land.”

That's mostly total bullshit too.

Local press reports indicate that not all of the people charged committed acts that contributed to the raging brushfires. For example, a man in the Sydney suburb of Wallacia was fined for lighting a fire to make a cup of tea. That blaze was extinguished by firefighters. Another man was cited for lighting a fire to cook food in the town of Tarro. That fire was also put out by responding crews.

Jason Wilson, a columnist and journalist for The Guardian, wrote, “Sadly, arsonists exist among us, and are always a factor in bushfires. The number of arrests is being highlighted across right wing media in order to muddy the waters and avoid discussing the real reason that bushfire season is longer and more dangerous.”

That's total bullshit propaganda in it's purest lack-of-research kind and easily debunked by authorities facts - by those people that investigate and prosecute fire laws rather than a joe on YT pushing an agenda.

Narrator's next lines of bullshit are about Greenies.

But as firefighters try and beat back the bushfires, a familiar blame game began with critics pointing fingers at “greenies”, claiming they get in the way of hazard reduction efforts that might have reduced the size and scale of the disaster.

“These are very tired and very old conspiracy theories that get a run after most major fires,” says Prof Ross Bradstock, the director of the centre for environmental risk management of bushfires at the University of Wollongong, who has been researching bushfires for 40 years.

“They’ve been extensively dealt with in many inquiries.”

So what are the claims?
The chief accuser is Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce who says “greens policy” gets in the way “of many of the practicalities of fighting a fire and managing it”.

Among Joyce’s claims, made in several interviews this week, are that Greens policies have made hazard reduction activities more difficult.

This claim, just to be clear, is about the policies of a party that has never been in government.

Joyce also blamed the Greens for “paperwork” that made it harder to carry out hazard reduction activities.

“It’s not burning because they burnt off, it’s burning because they didn’t burn off,” Joyce told SkyNews.

According to Bradstock, Joyce’s claims are familiar but “without foundation.”

“It’s simply conspiracy stuff. It’s an obvious attempt to deflect the conversation away from climate change.”

Re: BURNING AUSTRALIA! UPDATE Pg 46: 'Liquid gold' and 'a sight for sore eyes' are some of the ways people are describing the rainfall
Is there a drop in hazard reduction?
A spokesperson for the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment has told Guardian Australia that the National Parks and Wildlife Service carried out hazard reduction activities across more than 139,000ha in 2018 and 2019.

The NPWS had a hazard reduction target to treat 680,000ha of parks and reserves in the five years from 2011, which the spokesperson said it had exceeded.

The spokesperson added: “Hazard reduction is just one way of preparing for bushfires – it doesn’t remove the threat of fire.”

Bradstock says: “In New South Wales, hazard reduction work is governed by policies that are set by coordinating committee chaired by the Rural Fire Service. They bring together all players – with representatives from farmers, environment groups and governments.

“Hazard reduction work has increased because of increased funding to the RFS and to national parks. There has been more carried out in recent years than in previous decades.”

What about cuts to staff?
The Public Service Association has also attacked the NSW government for what it said was a “35% cut to fire-trained positions” in national parks.

Its acting general secretary, Troy Wright, said on Tuesday: “It is the Nationals who hold the purse string. Rather than funding the NPWS properly so that they can undertake strategic reductions they have crippled them with massive budget cuts and devastating restructures.”

The NSW environment minister, Matt Kean, told Guardian Australia that NPWS had 1,665 full time equivalent staff, a rise of 144 since 2017. Since 2011, Kean said the NSW government had increased the number of NPWS firefighters from 1,050 to 1,226.

Some 400 NPWS staff were out fighting fires. He says: “They are risking their lives to keep the community safe. Many are fighting fires that are not on park, but to protect people and property.”

He says NPWS undertakes 75% of all hazard reduction in the state, adding that last season, NPWS undertook 137,500 hectares of prescribed burns, which was above its target of 135,000 hectares.

"Greenies" doesn't mean Green Party - it is a synonym for far left environmentalists.

Ask the professional firefighters if these are from climate change. They will laugh in your face. Not allowing the clearing of brush that feeds the fires in an already dry climate loaded with highly flammable eucalyptus trees gave fuel for the fire to spread.

In Colorado it is against the law to not clear the land around your house to prevent damage from forest fires, but in California and Australia, it is against the law to clear the overgrowth or grasses and weeds that provide fuel for the fires and allow the fires to spread rapidly.

It was called Global Warming until GW was debunked, so they renamed it climate change. Now weather patterns are being called climate change. Climate means rainforest, desert, etc. If a rainforest is turned into a desert, one could call that a change in climate.

Climate change propaganda is simply an excuse to impose a global tax and allow the wealthiest to exert even more control over the markets. the oceans are not rising, ice sheets are growing and most of these stragne weather patterns are exacerbated by aerosol spraying - chemtrails.

We are unfortunately an oil-dependednt society. reducing consumption means major changes in the economic system - it means eliminating single use, eliminating planned obsolescence, eliminating the MIC, which uses 25% of the world's energy resources, not to mention the environmental damage down from depleted uranium, atomic testing, and biological and chemical warfare programs. Why trust any government that lies to start wars? Why trust networks who lie to justify these wars?

A few billionaires contributing to a carbon offset fund does nothing to eliminate the pollution and waste generated from their private jets. A carbon tax doesn't eliminate the environmental damage caused by Hollywood, with all of the sets, blown up cars, gas guzzling limos and over-air conditioned theaters that serve billions of drinks in plastic cups. A carbon tax doesn't eliminate the waste generated from a pro-sporting event or a music concert. A carbon tax doesn't clean up the water in your tap or develop technology to keep clean up Fukushima.

The biggest lie is that conservatives are not pro-environment simply because they don't want to pay a tax that does nothing to positively impact the environment. An idiot who creates a policy to criminalize clearing brush that fuels forest fires is not an environmentalist, regardless of the climate change memes he shares on his FB page.

What's with the propaganda?

The controlled burning laws are down to local and state govern ments, not federal.

The greens and environ mentalists have had huge influence on local policies, and are very rightly to blame.

Speak to any regional firey about it; don't spew your far l e ft guardian propaganda on here.

Article is 100% supported by facts dumbass

NSW government fire officials exceeded their fire management goals - burn offs - despite the conditions which are becoming a lot more risky when brush is dry and droughted.

Educate yourself. Stop listening to far-out propaganda.

And despite the whiney conservative people in leadership...who cut the fire management budgets.

I've never actually spoken to someone with down's syndrome before, but there's a first time for everything.

There are zero facts in your 'article', only misleading narratives.

The federal government has NO influence or directives regarding local and state laws on controlled burning and making firebreaks.

The greens and environmentalists have had huge influence at local, regional government level, claiming all sorts of bs to effectively bring controlled burning to near immaterial levels.

Now, the results of the leftists' madness have come home to roost.

Climate change is a fact.

What's causing it is a question of belief.

Anyone in 2020 would have to be a fuckin idiot not to believe that nations and governments are fully aware of the climate change of droughts and floods and fire dangers and are doing the best they can to mitigate impacts to life and environment.

Let's look at fighting these massive fires.

All that toxic fire retardant laid down is bad for soil, bad for animals, bad for humans, bad for agriculture and winds blow that shit around.

It's turning into bad cycles that aren't going away anytime soon and bullshit conspiracy theories about 'only' arsonists lighting Australia on fire is laughable.

People best wake up soon to the peril our planet is in and stop pussy footing over bullshit.

Baldivis, a Perth suburb just East of us in the foothills, is up in flames.... taken several buildings and properties and threatens the Graham Farmer Freeway, a key link between North and South...

[link to mobile.abc.net.au (secure)]

"The fire began about midday in scrubland east of the Kwinana Freeway, near the Karnup Road interchange, in Baldivis. ... Strong winds are fanning the fire, extending the emergency warning area across the suburbs of Baldivis, Mardella, Hopeland, Wellard, Casuarina and Oldbury."

(guess it's our turn)
