The only thing that matters in life is Jesus Christ. Live for Him and be free.

Buy more stuff. Eat more food. Drink more alcohol. Buy more stuff. Eat more food. Over and over. Maybe get addicted to some drug. Use people for sex. Get bored with it. Feed every desire your flesh can come up with and end up in a hellish nihilism. Meditate. Do new age, gets old. Do religion, fall back to doing the same old crap and dropping it. Over and over. Searching for an answer to it all. Go through tons of pain learning life lessons....then get sick, or get old, death looms...terrified of non existence, feeling like life was wasted on frivolous nonsense and nothing ever meant anything. In fifty years no one even remembers your name. May as well have never existed.

This is the truth of EVERY life. A person can lie to themselves and say they are totally satisfied and totally fulfilled. On the inside we all know different. Nothing works, nothing satisfies. We are empty. As long as we have these human hearts, which are wicked and full of sin want whatever they want at all times, we will be empty. And all becomes meaningless.

Christianity is a joke to many. The life of one man who preached for three years, within a hundred miles of His home, and that man's death and resurrection, have utterly changed the course of the earth.

Christianity is not a religion. It is a person. Jesus Christ, the son of God and God in the flesh. He came and lived a perfect life and was sacrificed to pay the price for all of humanity's sin. If a person believes on Him, recognizes their on sinfulness and asks God for forgiveness and accepts Christ's sacrifice, God will give you a new heart, HIS heart. The Holy spirit will some into you and your wants will change, your heart will change. Life become not about you wants and needs, and not about you, you you....and instead become about Christ and loving others and leading others to God.

THIS is the true answer so many seek, and yet they laugh at Christ and the idea....because they can't see that their own sinfulness is the cause of their true dilemma.

Admit you are a sinner and ask Christ to give you a new heart and mind. And live free....as you are a slave to sin now, be freed from bondage through Jesus Christ.
