The way I read it, they gave him two tickets and were going to charge him if he invited more people than that. Does he want an unlimited number of tickets? This wasn’t a concert of his and there’s not unlimited seating for the Miller family; it was someone else’s private event and they can set whatever rules they want. Does he give unlimited free seats to whatever comedian opens his shows for him these day?

I’ve been a Steve Miller fan since I was about 10, don’t care for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, and wanted to be on Miller’s side, but those interviews he did make him sound like a spoiled primadonna. Yeah, they should’ve put him in the Hall of Fame decades ago. So what? They got around to it, and he immediately goes out and starts bashing them, going all SJW on them for not having more women in his group, which is a cheap shot that, while it will always get you press, it’s not their fault there aren’t more deserving women. The way he treated the Black Keys, two guys who idolized him as kids and voluntarily took time out of their lives to help honor him, was disgraceful.

I’m sure there are a lot of problem in his industry and he has legitimate complaints, but none of his complaints about the induction process were legitimate.
