The crew called it the “taco”. I saw the story recently of the discussion at NASA which showed the identical piece in the duplicate that they maintain on earth-it was clearly identical to the piece that was lost shown in the footage. As it gets farther away it gets smaller and starts to look more like a blob of light rather than a distinct shape. That happens when I over-expose ISS itself. ISS isn't emitting light, it's just reflecting a lot of sunlight into the camera which is overexposing it enough to make it look like a blob. Last Edited by Astromut on 11/21/2019 04:00 PM  |
