She's got some other problems. Coffee "addiction" doesn't do that.

I used to drink several POTS of coffee per day. I mean, I was always holding a cup of coffee in my hand and it was some serious industrial strength coffee, too.

One day at work they relocated the coffee machine to another wing. Being the lazy bastard I am, I didn't feel like walking to another wing just to get a cup of coffee. So, from that day onwards I didn't drink coffee at work. Soon, I quit drinking coffee at home, too.

I didn't even notice it.

I can understand smokers going nuts when they can't have their smoke or heavy drinkers being denied their shot, but coffee... meh.

It's more of a habit than addiction, really.
