The new decade doesn't technically begin until 2021, but close enough.

All of humanity is wrong, apparently. Yes, yes they were. If you were alive at the turn of the century, you would have seen and heard multiple news reports at the end of both 2000 and 2001 correcting people about about how the calendar really works. Don't take my word for it. Google it for yourself.
