Venice Italy underwater

I see nothing about any rogue waves, but they are having tide related flooding right now. Not unusual though, Venice floods about 100 days out of every year.

At 1st glance I thought this thread read "Venice Italy in underwear"

I wouldn't have questioned it considering the way the site it veering today.

I have never been but I can only imagine, must smell moldy

I've never been, myself. I like touristy places because I'm more likely to blend in, but Venice is going one step too far when it comes to touristy.

Hung out there before the Christmas holidays. Zero tourists . Wonderfully magical city .

I found out there are over 260 cities and towns sunmerged in the Medaterainian. Some at the very bottom.

Its a unique city, visit it before it totally sinks in the sea.

I have been, and you are wrong. It is one of our favorite places, it's not too touristy.

So do the homeless in Venice get around in a canoe? Do they sleep on a floating air mattress? Do they piss in the gutter or just on the surface of the water? Inquiring minds want to know.

dry venice

been there many times but when you stay too long (like 8 days) it will start to freak you out the absence of natural horizon. Outside the main canals the rest of the city has only buildings as horizon. Not to say that some building do give you sea sickness as they actually swing in the wather.
