I have a story to tell and grandma's voice isn't what it used to be. Back in my Cointel days, I learned a little secret. Every organization, large or small, that might someday become a threat, even if it's simply because it is a group of citizens willing to stand up for their basic rights...every single one of those organizations is marked for infiltration. Not one is exempt. A little later in life, I was looking at job opportunities and there was only one full-time "legit" job popping up in my inbox, care of my university's department. It was the CIA, hiring internet agents. People to work all day every day infiltrating places like this. It was the only steady job available in my field in 2010. So, you can give up on everything good in the world because they've touched it all with their poisoned gloves, or you can stand and be one of those terrifying citizens they were so scared of to begin with - a citizen willing to stand up and protect their most basic rights. And, no, I didn't take that job. I chose to stand. Last Edited by TlvmmCpoft on 11/13/2019 09:29 PM I don't know what lies they told you, but I can promise they were lies. Been dealin' with cointelpro (pro is actually a misnomer for the most part) since protest days in college in the 80's. A buddy of mine clued me in to their tactics. They're pretty transparent to me. MI Militia in the Thumb Area tried to recruit me after the army -- before OKC. ;) I made 65 dollars on a bet that day. Everybody was sure until evening that it was Muzzz. I knew it was someone a lot closer to home. I pegged them as infiltrated 100%. They have to get up pretty early in the morning to fool me at this point. |
