The term "outdated cultural depictions" caries with it the automatic association of perverse, wrong, and/or inferior, so by default, just putting the warning at the beginning of a movie is a form of far leftist propaganda in itself. And no one would ever expect Disney to actually stop showing an older movie out of respect for the "new truths" that we now "all embrace". That would mean they could no longer make money off of that particular movie. Their move is actually just proof that greed will always come before "social justice" and/or "protection of the easily triggered". |

Communists always kill off and censor the traditions and culture of the societies they take over. Some years ago when I still had tv, I noticed the old movie channels like AMC and TCM were no longer showing movies based on traditional values, or even movies with true emotion or sentimental themes. They quit showing for instance romantic movies or movies based on human bonding and love. Cowboy and Indian movies had really become taboo. Instead they started digging out these old crappy movies made by communists of the day, ridiculing family life and traditional roles. They would show movies with "strong" women in non-traditional roles, or movies about bad evil rednecks. They did still play a few old movies that were good like To Kill a Mockingbird and The Bad Seed, the first featuring evil southern rednecks, The Bad Seed about about a murderous little white girl. Movies had to now have an agenda or they would not be shown. I figured it would get even worse, they now aim to destroy all old movies that portray a normal moral America. Peepaws |
