How foolish do you have to be, when for the entire history of mankind there have been competitions for beauty, strength, endurance, skills?

I think people get the idea of "feminism" confused with man-hating. Feminism came about as a reaction to ill-treatment women were receiving in the world. They couldn't own property, they couldn't vote, they couldn't go into certain establishments, they couldn't hold certain jobs or attend certain schools, etc. There were no safeguards for them except to be married and depend on a husband they could only hope would be kind and not turn to drink. Their lot was to birth child after child and hope at least one survived until adulthood to take care of her in her old age. If her husband died, she was often left to abject poverty and could only hope to benefit from benevolent relatives who would care for her and her children.

Feminism allowed a woman the right to determine her own future and destiny - to be able to rely upon herself if the need arose. That is not a bad thing. It allowed women to use birth control - we do not need 10 kids per family any longer. Feminism allowed women the choice of career and the choice of marriage - or not - without being labeled a pitiful spinster and have to move in with a brother or sister to help care for their families.

Where this BS came from about feminism saying there is no biological clock, that women don't need men, that men and women are the same, and that a career is more meaningful than marriage is not the outline or intent of women's rights. It appears to be more an offshoot of the crazy vagina-wearing ultra left than those who fought for real rights.

I am a younger Boomer. We fought for the things I mentioned above and won those rights through hard work. Most of us were married. Most of us were well-aware of our biological clocks ticking and most of us had families. I cannot speak for others, but there is nothing wrong with a man being a man and a woman being a woman. That's how I raised my kids. My daughter is a PhD in engineering, AND she is married. My son is in a male-dominated career in engineering - military manufacturing. Women cannot ignore who they are, but should have the opportunity to be the best they can be (just as men should).

I guess what I am saying is that real feminists understand that it's OK to be a women. It's OK to stay home with the kids. It's OK to wear dresses and give your sons GI Joes and your daughters Barbie Dolls. It's even OK not to marry or not to remarry if you are widowed or divorced. It doesn't make you a second-class citizen because you are single. You can take care of yourself if need be. Women can never ignore their sex and men can never ignore their sex - it is a large part of who they are. They just need to make themselves the best example they can for future and stop the hate of each other.

Women are far from 99.9% whorish! However, if you hang around only whores, I suppose you might think that way. The question is, then, why do you hang around with whores? Like tend to congregate together - does that make you a man-whore? It's difficult to have a woman whore without a corresponding man-whore. Just sayin... It's NOT OK for men to go around from woman to woman, using them and discarding them any more than it is OK for a woman to do that to men.

Men should love their wives and women should love their husbands. As a couple, they should be stronger than each is individually. They should teach respect and manners to their children.

Women love women.
Men love women.
Women hate men.
Men hate men.

Simply put.

Men created a wonderful civilization and I am a benefactor.
