Robbers and rapists have been known to don police uniform, including badge, to get people to open their doors. Also, police are our employees. We have authority over them, not the other way around. This isn't soviet China. You can order all police gear off the internet, the only thing you can't order is a high quality badge that looks real, they all look generic and non customized. Now the one thing that POSSIBLY COULD verify them as a LEGITIMATE officer....they want to cover a portion of it up? Why can't they just pin something extra on their uniform to mourn? Why must they inhibit their ONLY qualifying credential? Dumbest shit I ever heard of. |
