Nowadays, there is good reason to be skeptical of anything the media and government says - but to be frank, I don't care if these shootings are real or not. They're not a good enough reason to take guns away from the people.

The known population of the US is about 329,792,857+

The number of people killed in school shootings in 2018 is 113.

That amounts to about 0.000000342639319% of the population.

The amount of gun owners who did not decide to go shoot up a school compared to the amount of gun owners who did is a similarly staggering statistic.

School shootings effect an extremely tiny minority of the population and we have much more reason to be wary of commies and the wicked people who want to take our guns than we do of the extremely rare school shooter. Gun control has never been about the safety of the people. It is about shifting the balance of power from the people to the evil sobs who want to control the people and bring about a leftist dystopia.

Gun control is really people control. Notice that the most dangerous parts of America are the places where guns are illegal. Is it normal to for just 1 kid to get shot in school? Not really. So yea people want action.

This has been proven by places that have implemented such craziness, including California where this terrorism happened. In Europistan where guns are completely outlawed, you have Bataclan and similar terrorism with hundreds dead. The only way to fight evil is to give the people a fighting chance, not hinder their ability to do so.

Any government worshiper is a deranged liberal, which includes a "devout Trump supporter." Anyone who worships government is a liberal by definition. Liberal is someone who wants liberal government, that is big government with tyrannical power. Conservative wants to conserve government, minimal government with as little power as possible. After all, the biggest mass murderers in history has been government, not citizens.

The con men are the ones who are trying to convince people that they are not after our guns. Gun bans do not usually happen in an instant. They happen step by step and in the past decade that you speak of we have certainly observed them taking many steps.

We do not want more gun regulations, such as a smaller magazine capacity, because that shifts the balance of power from the people to the wicked elite.

We do not want more background checks, because those who set the criteria for who passes those checks cannot be trusted. For example, in the future they may unjustly classify many right wingers as "terror threats" in the future and deny them guns. They may decide that anti-vaxxers are "dangerous" and should not be allowed to have guns, etc... The government should not have the power to do that.

I would rather a few "insane" people be able to buy guns than for the government to decide who is "mentally fit" enough to buy guns!

The idea that we should accept your gun control nonsense for "just 1 kid getting shot" is simply insane.

In California, where this terrorist event occured, the CADOJ has been conducting gun confiscation raids targeting conservative neighborhoods. You'd think they'd spend their time fighting gang crime instead or deporting illegals, but no, they target peaceful conservatives to take their guns. You have not been keeping up with the times.

CHP even has set up checkpoints on interstate highways near the Nevada border to target conservatives coming back from Nevada gun shows to search their cars for firearms and accessories to confiscate. Truly heinous. Why are they not at the southern border fighting the cartel crime instead?

CADOJ agents even follow Californian residents out of state and stalk them at gun shows to see what they are buying so they can confiscate and jail them the moment they cross back into California. This is happening as we speak! You are not keeping up with the times!

Minimal mention on the news last night. Was it because the weapon was a HANDgun and not an AR? Or because it had a 7 round magazine, not 30 or 100 rounds?

Sad for all involved. How did a 15 y/o get hold of a deadly weapon? Improper storage? If he had taken his mom's car and plowed thru a crowd of students walking to school would there be as much outcry? Demands for fingerprint readers in all cars and background checks to make sure parents were properly securing the keys to the vehicles?
