I have a favorite tree I "hug" once in awhile on
my walks. It's the original idea of "nurturing Nature"
and though it probably looks funny (I try to be discrete)
I believe there is a true exchange spiritually between
humans and Nature.

If this is really true, it would be amazing to think
that while hugging your favorite tree...it can sense or
feel YOUR heartbeat. That's really an incredible idea
and would explain a great deal about the mythology about
people and tree spirits from the Scandanavian traditions
(that's mine.)

Lovely topic and so needed in this day and age of
such nihilism.
