Timing is everything: "they want to get this vote to Senate after Trump supporters leave for Winter recess, like the 17th Amendment vote."

The time to vote on this will be after the majority of Trump supporters in the Senate leave for their home states for the holiday recess. Soon after the majority needed to have Senate vote to impeach the president they will attempt to oust President Trump in the same manner they voted to have the 17th Amendment go out for a vote to the public.
They need perfect timing to pull this off. Why Nunez was told to calm down and Jordan is holding back is unknown, but they should not even be justifying these hearings to date by attending.
