Car breaks 600MPH

On a good day, downhill, with a strong tail wind, my 1962 Volkswagon Beetle with an amazing 27 horsepower would break 60 mph!! I managed to do that about 3 times over the 18 months I owned the car ... I was always AMAZED and all smiles those times I managed to push that car past it's physical design limits and do that!!

Speed is addictive ... and I am sure Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin would have been amazed that I could travel that FAST!!

So? It's not the fastest car..

I define "car" as a wheel driven vehicle. That was a jet sled or cart...

Wow, I actually agree with you for once. It’s a ground rocket, not a car. Really nullifies the whole 600mph thing. Maybe someday we will get to the moon too.

Brief, you have seen how most high speed chases end. The car doesn't make the turn....

This is useless. There is no use for any car like it, no infrastructure would be possible for such car.

I thought this was Poland's attempt to get the next contract bid to supply jets to the U.S. in 2021.
