Quoting: Karma 006 If it hits 30k a can of pop and candy bar will hit $3.00. If it hits 35000 then a can of pop or candy bar will cost $3.50. Seems like an odd thing but it's always held true. It's your own fault for eating candy bars and soda, fatso. Someone's envious of someone who can afford a soda or candy bar lol? When the last sucker is in, they will pull the plug. Remember, they can pull the plug at any time. All they have to do is stop printing money and raise interest rates and it is game over; i.e. deflationary depression. This is how the game works. Create easy money, create bubbles, then pop the bubbles and buy up the assets that the working man created with the easy money for pennies on the dollar. Rinse and repeat for generations until they own everything and we all become their debt slaves. |

Everything is bullish. I said BULLISH. Best, Zazz The thing about this is that no stocks can be purchased without a broker holding my money. My experience with brokers is that they like to hold my money and when I want my money they hesitate to give it back to me. Because their buying power is greater with my money, not because they have my best interest in mind. The time period in which I could ride the bull and get my money doesn't allow enough freedom for me to avoid an unrecoverable 1929 collapse. Further, the 4%-10% isn't worth it to me for someone to hold my money. Of course there are TD Ameritrade places that are $10 a trade but finding something that Saudi isn't manipulating is nearly impossible. Nothing is safe. Nothing is guarantees, except what I can have access to on my terms. It would be nice if we could remove institutional investors and banks from the equation so they are not skimming off our money. |

So...using your formula, and the DOW being a little over 28K right now, then that would mean a can of soda, or a candy bar, would now cost $2.80 (which it doesn't....no where even close to $2.80) 12-packs of soda cost $3.75 (32 cents per can) and a large size candy bar cost ~ $0.75 - $1.00.
