Even though the original article is satire, it would probably be true if it were true.

I flew Jan 2002 when they were just getting heavy on security. Bought 2 seats so I could carry-on my 2 cats. Told agents who checked carriers (with cats in them) that one was a sweetheart, just be gentle but she would never scratch or bite. The other one would be fine if they were careful with her. The one TSA agent said if she scratched or bit him she'd be in trouble. I told him if he hurt my cat I'd hurt him (& he could tell I meant it too!) He stared at me a second, gently checked my cats & bags (no problems, except I thought I'd be arrested for threatening TSA!), & let us continue onto the plane...Hate TSA & overbearing flight attendants that think they're god (most are lovely-just takes one though...)

Since when do you put in quarters to turn on or off the TV in an airport. I don't travel much anymore but the TV is sort of ... just on.... in one section of the airport like at the bar or at the waiting area. Passengers don't have the option to turn on or off the TV.

Plus how can air travel increase nearly 500% because of a "TV channel". Nope... I'm calling bullshit on the entire idea.
