I actually watched the episode where he did this. He didn't denied the holocaust. He read a funny superchat on a Livestream, that questioned the numbers and he thought it was funny, so Ben Shapiro has been after him ever since.

That's what honestly made me travel down that mind-bending rabbit in the first place. I saw inordinate coordinated defamation of people who were clearly not racist or hateful in any way merely for questioning popularized narratives of WW2 events; this made me extremely curious as to why there were such vehement attempts to silence legitimate inquiries into obvious discrepancies in the generally accept historical accounts.

I won't get into details on what I discovered in my own investigations, but as an AC above mentioned the "6 million" number was suspiciously cried wolf a few too many times years before it stuck to the events it is now attributed to. Add to that various popularized "survivor" accounts that were later proved to be completely fraudulent and yet still widely propagated as if they weren't as well as verifiable examples of Allied destruction of supply chains clearly meant for civilians which obviously led to starvation and disease in otherwise well treated "areas", not to mention many other little incongruous things, and you start to get a picture of some pretty insidious and large scale manipulation of public perception for the benefit of a very small privileged minority. It's frightening in its scope and the inability to even discuss openly without having your reputation mercilessly destroyed.
