Congress has NO LEGAL authority to subpoena Trump's tax returns.

ESPECIALLY any from BEFORE he was President.

There is already a government agency that oversees tax returns known as the IRS.

The IRS already has investigative and law enforcement authority over tax issues.

Oh, yeah, the IRS is under the EXECUTIVE branch of the government.
