Okay, GFG...

I saw this on Twitter “breaking” from multiple sources (people). I understand how this “looks”, but I find it interesting how even the conservatives and Christians are being triggered into knee-jerk reactions. I’m both conservative and TRY to be a Christian.

Yet, is ANYONE even digging into the depths of what is really going on here? This isn’t as clean cut of a case as what it seems, IMO. Maybe it is, I just don’t see it.

But at the 30K ft view, how is this such a drastic move by CFA? Is anyone talking about the new direction they’re taking with their charitable donations, or how they want to serve more locally and into the roots with their donations?

Chick-fil-A is being persecuted, but so is Salvation Army, and any other of the numerous “Christian-based” organizations. To stop donating to SA is not as drastic of a move as what the CFA-worshipers lead on. It’s simply a strategic move to consolidate donations and end LONG-TERM donation agreements.

I don’t have a side here - I rarely eat at Chick-fil-A, and even more rarely support the Salvation Army. The point is, the response to these headlines and knee-jerk reaction is even far more dangerous than the act itself - particularly when people are so hazy-eyed as to take a side and not look into the facts. Idk.

In all reality, this is my suspicion - the evil is finally finding a way to separate the church, by pitting themselves against each other. This time, it is by using the things “Christians” relish and adore the most, the idols of that which they won’t admit but defend with absolution.
