Strange unknown howl heard in Ontario forest [Bigfoot?] | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 73234986 United States 11/18/2019 05:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Dogman is a creature that was first described by two lumberjacks who had come across it in the deep woods in Wexford county Michigan in 1887. It's described as being 7-8 feet tall (although some reports put them as tall as 9-10 and even a few at 11-12 feet tall), hair/fur (usually black), covered creature, that can ambulate on either two or four legs. It's essentially a real life werewolf, the Rou Garou. There are several variations in it's description but generally is described as having the body resembling a man but the head of a dog (usually German Shepherd). It is extremely intelligent, fast (on either 2 or 4 legs - able to keep pace with cars traveling 65 mph or more), strong and dangerous (has injured and killed humans and is thought to be the cause of many of the missing 411 cases). For some unknown reason, sightings have become much more frequent in recent years. The youtube channel Dogman Encounters Radio presents encounters with this creature as told, personally, by those who have had the unfortunate experience to cross it's path. The reports of those who have had face to face encounters are extremely scary, even just to listen to. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 75682040 United States 11/18/2019 05:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was at the lake yesterday. Its covered in a frsh layer of clear ice about an inch thick. It was beautiful and serene. I was taking some pics with my camera when all of a sudden I heard this loud noise I can't discribe but I will try anyway. It sounded like something bouncing of a huge pane glass window and a long echo. It was the ice. Maybe from a distance it sounds different. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46651889 That's a pretty typical sound in the winter time for anyone that lives away from a city. |

Gino Meekis, a 39-year-old who lives in Sioux Lookout, was out hunting grouse with his wife and grandson on Oct. 3 when they heard the sound and captured it on video. “We walked down this trail,” Meekis told Global News. “For maybe 10 to 15 minutes, we walked down, then we turned around and were walking back to our vehicle, and about 500 metres from our vehicle, that’s when we started hearing the screaming.” I live on top of a mountain in the Appalachians. I,and another person, heard the exact same mournful howl. It was about 15 years ago, heading into winter weather, around 1AM. It started with our dogs inside our home starting to whine loudly. We could hear it from inside the house, but went outside to hear better. EXACTLY like what you hear in the vids you posted. It made my skin crawl, hair on the back of my neck stand up. Also, made me strongly feel that whatever was howling, was expressing unbearable pain. It was heart-wrenching. Petite Southern Gun Toting Bubbette NO. Is a complete sentence. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77999704 Canada 11/18/2019 05:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wrong time of year. Black bears are asleep when they conceive and when they give birth. The Black bear mates in the fall, but she stores the semen inside of her for several weeks. If she eats enough before hibernation, the semen will release inside her and she will conceive as she enters hibernation. The cubs will be born while she is still in hibernation mode, in the early spring. I spent a few years prospecting and working out of Pickle Lake, 300 km north of Sioux Lookout. I had a lot of great adventures, including meeting the mother of my children We used to go to Sioux Lookout for romantic weekends of a movie theater and restaurant, and jacuzzi suite at the hotel. I never heard of any big foot sightings. It's more a place of Wendigos, Wabenos, and the Weesakeejuk after whom Canada's national bird, the Whiskey Jack is named. |

User ID: 77859023 United States 11/18/2019 05:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I saw two dogmen in Allen Tx. At least that’s all I can figure out that they were or hyenas the size of a shetland pony. They were asleep in a field and one got up and turned around and laid back down. A Lion was the first thing I thought because it had a mane, then hyena because it obviously wasn’t a lion but had gold spots on it. For years I had no idea and kept trying to find articles on giant hyenas in Texas and then I came across an article where the person also thought at first they had seen a lion but no, a hyena. They didn’t know what it was until it stood up and they saw a wolfs head and mane and spots but it walked into the woods on two legs. It wasn’t a stone’s throw away from the road and I wish I had stopped to see. Sort of. Making sammiches great again! |

Well then! :) one story on DE is about a farm family who regularly saw the dogman creatures on their property. It was a pack of them with a large one as the leader and they all lived in harmony. One day however their cattle started to come up mutilated. The family began to fight among themselves about whether it was the pack and whether they should try to kill the pack. One day the younger boys were riding the atv around the property and saw the dogman leader standing at the edge of the woods with a white object in his hands. He walked out and dropped it and went back to the edge of the woods and stood watching. They went to see what it was and it was a freaky looking white, skinny, pale creature with a mouth as big as a dinnerplate and long limbs. It had been disemboweled and the pack leader started to walk back to this carcass so they took off a few yards away and the dogman picked it up and the boys had the impression that this creature was wha killed the cows and then he turned and carried it back into the woods. The cow killings stopped. Making sammiches great again! |

Probably in some places where men have never stepped foot. Never heard anything like that. Ever. :damnedbig: There was a video some folks made of something sounding like this as it walked around in the woods. It was terrifying. I wish I could find it again. It even scared the dogs. These creatures have been written about for hundreds of years. They are called Cynocephali. Some say that the original descriptions of Saint Christopher were of this type of creature. But the Catholic church yada yada. Making sammiches great again! |

I don’t know what I saw but I did see a huge creature with sloping hindquarters and a large mane. I am friends with the DeSoto sherrif and asked him if they ever got werewolf 911’s and he said yes but he acted skeptical about them being legit. Making sammiches great again! |
