Strange unknown howl heard in Ontario forest [Bigfoot?] | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 43684203 Canada 11/18/2019 06:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "I shared this video with some hunters I know : They say it is a loud death groan nearly all bears make when they are about to "expire", bears make it 2 to 3 times before they die. Either after being shot or in a fight when one bear kills the other & one is about to die. Hunters say it's a loud and spooky sound that can be heard through out the forest. So it is a distress sound for sure." |

Gino Meekis, a 39-year-old who lives in Sioux Lookout, was out hunting grouse with his wife and grandson on Oct. 3 when they heard the sound and captured it on video. “We walked down this trail,” Meekis told Global News. “For maybe 10 to 15 minutes, we walked down, then we turned around and were walking back to our vehicle, and about 500 metres from our vehicle, that’s when we started hearing the screaming.” Big cats can make some very strange screams. |

With a dense pine forest like that, you would hear a more muted distant sound. Not a bunch of echoey reverby stuff. ```````````````` ````__/\__`````` ~~~\____/~~~~ .~~..~~~....~~~ ~..~~~....~~~~ Thoughts do not come from you nor God; you do not create thoughts; you are not your thoughts; every thought is a lie. - 2 Corinthians 10:5 - [link to www.biblegateway.com (secure)] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 43684203 Canada 11/18/2019 07:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A long time ago I went out on the land to hunt moose and I came upon a big lake on the edge of the tundra. I set up camp for the night and cached my food supplies under a pile of rocks. I fell sound asleep but I woke up to here rocks rolling around. I couldn't see what it was and I didn't want to tangle with a hungry bear but that was my food it was taking so I made as much noise as I could. I had my rifle ready but couldn't see a damned thing. It kept on rolling rocks and breaking branches and I could just make out a dark mass near the campfires embers. That's when I fired my rifle and that's when it let out the most unearthly howl that I ever heard. Then it started moving fast throught the brush straight towards me. I fired my rifle again but it kept coming and before I could reload I felt it brush right past me and down the path behind me. I lay awake most of the night wondering if it would return but it never did. I did however hear the most blood curdling screams that night and for the following night. I will never forget! |

There is today no bear alive big enough to make the sound it made. It broke a tree branch bigger than my leg as I was trying to fall asleep. I hear now that they do that for territorial reasons. Yeah I did it, and it can't be undone. |

Probably in some places where men have never stepped foot. Never heard anything like that. Ever. :damnedbig: All that means is you’ve never seen “American Werewolf in London.” Because that’s what this is from. I mean IRL. Lol..it’s so damn obvious. Did you listen to the clip I put up earlier in thread? Unless...you don’t think...that movie was real??? |

Yeah, I listened to it a second time and it definitely has a cheap reverb effect added in. Shhhh...some people think it’s legit. |
