This thread was opinion based. We cannot help profiling, its human nature. So, because i grew up with a father who was in the navy, and had many tats...I watched what happened when he got older.

After serving, he entered the civilian world and was suddenly embarrassed by all the tattoos he had. Especially the ones on his hands and arms that were most always exposed. He even tried to hide them with make-up.

Because of this, i have always steered clear of them. Despite my time playing guitar in several metal bands in the 80's when tats became all the rage for musicians. I remember those days well, and how most of these guys got them, not because they liked them, but because they felt pressured or thought it was cool.

So yeah, i am not a fan of tats...on women or men.

Most people who get tattoos do it as a declaration of non-conformity.

As if turning their back on “normal society” makes them cool and awesome and special

But just all the other “I’m so special” tattoo folks...they are simply conforming to the “I’m so special” tattoo cult

You may not like tattoos, but we are not our bodies. Our bodies our like a car, and tattoos are similar to putting decals on a car. When we die, we will then know that we aren’t are body.

Back to tattoos and woman with them being sluts or assumed to be. My wife and her best friend both have and like tattoos. Neither of them or sluts. Her best friends husband is in the military and has been gone since January, she has been more than faithful. My wife and I are not only faithful, but extremely close.

I personally think getting and thinking about getting tattoos is a form of escape. I’m a big spiritual enthusiast, and so my escape is in meditation and other spiritual pursuits. My wife and her fiend not so much. Also, in these tense times, social media is not so much of an escape anymore, so I here from my wife and her friend. So it would seem talking about tattoos has become even more of a thing for those two because of this.

Anyway, feel free to generalize whole groups people based on your perception. But be cautioned, that’s exactly what the mainstream media is trying to do to white conservatives right now, there all racist! LOL.

I spent all a young girl's life telling her how bad they look, pointing out old women with them and how awful they looked, expressing how thankful I never got any even in my rock n roll days, and how they would mess up jobs, people would judge her, she would regret them later, and that ladies just shouldn't do it.

She got them anyway and one is a "sleeve" which horrified me, made me sick, and I couldn't believe it. Like arms don't get fatter with age.
