As was pointed out by one of the representatives: thousands of pages of depositions under oath, hundreds of hours of interviews, thousands of questions answered by dozens of witnesses. Not a single time was the word "bribe" or any permutation of that word used.

Well, that's not true, it does come up once, but it implicates Biden directly, not Trump.

Legal on all counts and the investigation was already on, which is why accommodating Barr was mentioned in the phone call.

In addition, Bribery: constitutionally, nothing about the president putting conditions on money that is not obligated to begin with to a foreign nation.

Bribery has a strict meaning in the constitution and concerning impeachment: THAT A FOREIGN NATION PAYS OFF THE PRESIDENT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE. OR CORPORATION. THAT THE PRESIDENT IS BOUGHT OFF.

THAT IS THE LEGAL, THE ONLY LEGAL, DEFINITION OF BRIBERY AS AN IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE.

No mention of anything the president requires from other countries because other countries requirements for aid, is not in the constitution.

But foreign affairs is soley Presidential.
