Fact: I was in the Navy!

Fact: Up until Daddy Bush all U.S. Navy aircraft carriers had at least 1 aircraft at the ready with a live nuke or 2 known as the ready!

Fact: In boot camp when I was shown the film about the Forestall fire they mentioned it in the film.

Fact: My boot camp company commander lost more than a few good friends in The Fire and was very angry when drilling it into our heads the importance of safety on the flight deck.

Fact: He confirmed that it was an A-5 Vigilante loaded with a nuke that was rolled off the Carrier to keep the fire from spreading!

Fact: I am speculating looking at possibilities, but I will never forget the look on his face when addressing us after the film and telling us that there is no compromise when it comes to safety.

I am 62 years old and it has never left My mind as I work 6 days a week as a industrial maintenance mechanic! I have always wondered about the lost nukes and if anything could set 1 off.

Your reply is not really worth my time, but let's do this anyway.

First: You went to Boot Camp, not OCS or NROTC or the Academy...so you were enlisted. You are not an officer. So, you don't necessarily have access to classified military intelligence, you know as much as anyone knows.

Second: I hate to say it, but your testimony of what you were told just does not hold water with me. Maybe you forgot, or your memory is not as sharp as it used to be. Fine. Produce ANY evidence. ANY!

Third: So what, you work 6 days a week as an industrial mechanic, should I salute you? Try working 5 days a week, and ask for a raise.

Fourth: Lost nukes would be highly classified. If any lost nuke needs to be worried about, it would be when Dick Cheney was VP and a B-52 left Minot AFB with a battery of nukes and when it landed in Louisiana it was missing a nuke. That made national news for a brief second. The thing about nukes is (as I learned from this incident) they require constant care and very professional upkeep. However, Cheney was CEO of Halliburton, and of the very few private companies in the world that could secretly and properly care for a nuke, Halliburton is at the top of that list.

Finally: I NEED evidence that a Viet-Nam era small attack jet was armed with a nuke, and just sitting on the flight deck, when John McCain backfired his jet engine and lit off bombs into the worst Carrier fire since WWII. EVIDENCE!

My father is retired USAF, Korean and Vietnam war vet. During the 1960's, he was navigator/bombadier on B-47's and B-58's. While stationed at Hunter AFB in Savannah, GA he told me the story behind the story in the following link. A crewmen was sent to the bomb bay to visually check out a warning indicator light. The B-47 hit some turbulence and the crewman lost his balance and accidentally grabbed and pulled the manual bomb release wire. It fell, knocking open the bomb bay doors and landed/exploding its non-nuclear explosive. Taking out a farm house in SC/GA area.

Another time, while stationed at Bunker Hill (Grissom) AFB in Indiana, a B-58 crashed and burned on takeoff with a nuke onboard. The pilot was killed. They dug a huge pit, pushed the wreckage into the pit covered it with concrete.

My father knows strategic locations of nukes in "geopolitical sensitive" areas. Even after 40 yrs retirement from USAF and I had a 'Q' clearance, he wouldn't discuss it with me. It's because of people like my dad and others I worked with that I know our nuclear arsenal is safe.

Thanks for your input, I'll look into it. I know there have been accidents with live nukes in the past, and it is kept very hush, hush.

The thing is, it takes a special "nuclear trigger" to light off the larger nuke. It's not easy to get a nuke to pop off. In fact, it is very, very difficult.

I believe your story (with evidence too!) way more than the guy who said we dropped a nuke overboard in the South China Sea during Viet-Nam.

I remember a movie called 'Broken Arrow' about a B-2 Bomber pilot who steals the nuke from his plane. The movie basically sucked, but it had a few slightly memorable moments. A 'Broken Arrow' is supposedly the call sign for a lost nuke.

Didn't watch the video. I only know the 'scuttlebutt' says the Chicoms were installing nuclear reactors on some of their illegal islands in the South China Sea. Indonesia has upped their claims against China in disputed South China Sea. They now refer to their economic zone as the North Natuna Sea and Islands. Vietnam is doing same in challenging Chicoms. Philippine President Duterte regrets not enforcing a ruling by the UNCLOS court judgement against Chicoms. However, Duterte at the time was ignored by former President Obamanation in 2016. He was hedging against Killary becoming the next US POTUS at the time and accepted a deal by Chicoms for investment money. He also referred to Obama as a son of whore, which is accurate. When President Trump took office, he regretted his poor decision with Chicoms and sought to re-establish relations with the US.

The Chicoms MO is to loan money to poor nations, allowing them to upgrade their infrastructure only to provide Chicoms easier access to steal their natural resources.

As I've stated in several threads a year ago, 2019 would be year where countries redeploy their military assets in preparation for war in 2020. The entire HK protest movement is a Chicom op to assert their military authority and see how the UN/US react to their brutal crackdown. This is how they will decide whether to attempt attacking Taiwan in 2020.
