Why can't we raise the drivers license fee so that renters can bear some of the Burdon. My thought is not perfect but man it makes me want to sell my house and just get an apt

Texas property taxes are NOT high, many States are higher, some WAY higher.

And in the end, a renter DOES pay property tax, AS part of their rent.

LOL !!!!!!!!!!! think we're ALL jammed up in austin,DFW, etc ?
there are low real estate taxation counties or unincorporated communities w/good schools--

and unlike NJ are NOT paying muni and state--only federal.
same applies to NH and NH has NO sales tax,only federal tax,so do the math as they say for TX & NH--as for NJ ? no worse than cherry picked areas like,
westchester ny, areas of nassau/suffolk county ny cheaper ? g'way.
