They say they don't have an example of a djed, so they don't know what is really is. We have a big huge pyramid djed. Here are some pictures. [ link to www.ancient-origins.net (secure)] That pointy thing in the kinds chamber is a djed. So likely some type of power source? Some type of resonant tower. Maybe even the ark was made to work with the pyramid like Solomon's temple did. So big power source and little mobile power source. Osiris's device is a medium sized one? Kinda tesla like, eh? I think the green stone they fit through the top by the cherubim is emerald. There is an old legend saying pure emerald can remove poison from the body. In your (and my) link, we find a similar sentence about being bit by serpents and looking at it will cure you. Resonance energy of the gemstone.
