Not sure why they went the pet mastering angle but the other are interesting in link as well. Reminds of why certain birds live in certain trees etc. or the orb spider arising from certain plants. This is what agriculture doesn’t understand really. electrical agriculturalists might lol

Humans aren’t the only ones to keep pets, you know. All sorts of animals from right around the world have been spotted forming masterful relationships with other species. But unlike us with our cats and dogs, these mutualistic creature companionships are usually essential for both animals’ well being, if not their very survival.

As a large species of spider, the Colombian lesserblack tarantula is more than capable of killing and eating a small amphibian like the dotted humming frog. Yet the tarantula has a good reason for letting the frogs live—they eat ants, which devour spider eggs. In return for guarding the mama spider’s offspring, the frogs are allowed to keep on hopping. As a bonus, they get eight-legged protection from other predators and leftovers to feed their tadpoles on when the tarantula makes a kill.

On shadow kings topic
Shadow self is the most vulnerable
To be seen
To be heard
To be understood
To be loved

The way not be tricked is to be aware of ones own shadow selves.
Hindsight is 20/20

How did they do it
What emotion did they appeal to
What fear did they appeal to
What dream did they sell you

I went here before it was entombed.

[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

The cave, first explored in 1960 by Dale Green, is currently owned by the Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration,[1] and managed by the Utah Timpanogos Grotto.

In the past this cave has had four rescues of cavers and Boy Scouts, who became stuck inside the cave's tight twists, turns, and crawls.[2]

It was like a well in the ground that opened into a cave. A real cave not of the tour guide kind. I knew a snake at the entrance meant what it meant. The crawl on the belly to the inside was very serpentesque
Years later, a man was entombed and they closed it off as it was a very dangerous cave and journey even for the experienced.
It’s all on who goes with imo and that guy did not heed the warning of self or the tunnels.

Twelve sacrificial votive bulls’ heads and bones dated to the Ptolomaic period were found in niches cut into the walls of the storerooms. In addition, a complete skeleton of a bull was found carefully buried under the floor of the temple palace.

Iskander believes the foundation deposits bearing the throne name of Ramses II buried under his first temple built in Egypt confirm the temple was indeed constructed during his reign, not his father’s.

A rare figurine of the Canaanite god Baal and a bronze calf statue are among the fascinating finds which Macquarie University archaeologists have uncovered in Israel.
Ancient artefacts dating back 3,300 years have been unearthed by Macquarie University archaeologists at a long-lost city believed to be linked to King David.

Ozone hole three times the size of Greenland opens over the North Pole

Ozone holes open over the South Pole every year. Holes at the North Pole are much, much rarer.

The ozone hole covers an area roughly three times the size of Greenland, scientists from the European Space Agency (ESA) said in a statement, and could expose people living at far northern latitudes to high levels of ultraviolet radiation if it grows much larger. Fortunately, the hole looks likely to close on its own in the next few weeks, the ESA researchers said.

The Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is on fire and radiation levels are spiking

In the city of Chernobyl itself, and in more distant Kiev, radiation levels remain normal, according to CNN.

Fires in the exclusion zone aren't uncommon, according to Firsov's post. The 1,000-square-mile (2,500 square kilometers) area around the power plant has been largely abandoned since the 1986 meltdown of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. And in that time, trees and other plants have colonized the area.

Firsov blamed humans for the periodic fires in the zone.

I visited Saint George and can say the fallout has its own sensations.

Wishful thinking about energy generation has apparently induced both temporary blindness and long-term amnesia about the history of nuclear “mishaps.”

In 2009, the government subsidized the nuclear industry with $18.5 billion in loan guarantees, which failed to anticipate the total costs of “the next generation of plants.” The Nuclear Energy Institute–the industry’s lobbying group–now wants $20 billion more in loan guarantees to get the so-called “nuclear renaissance” underway.
Before ramping up funding for the nuclear gang, lawmakers should look beyond the current catastrophe and into some of the numerous U.S. nuclear accident reports.

Jacobs reported on how the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) and its successor three-letter agencies lied about, distorted, and even classified official reports on the health impacts of low-level radiation.

I've been chasing the secrets of ancient civilization my entire life and they've been right under my nose.
This whole time.
This is incredible.
Show me more, please.

We should up the degree of difficulty in this conversation.
Um, let's talk about religion or politics, or Or your plan to dig under SafeSpace.
What's controversial about that? You don't like the idea of an underground garden? Oh, I l-love it, just not here.
There's a major aquifer nearby, excavation could pollute it.
I know.
My hydrologist did a full site survey.
Oh.
Well, uh, did you look into the soil? It's very sandy.
You could be putting the whole building in jeopardy.
Which is why I consulted a geologist first.
What's this about? You got me.
It's the-the northwestern salamander.
Yeah, they have a subterranean migration corridor through this neighborhood.
Salamanders? Mm.
You're very fast at cooking up objections.
I would say that you're the one who's - moving too fast.
- No, I'm being decisive.
- You are being contrary.
- Contrary? Is that how you describe people who don't agree with you?

I'm going to say three words that are very hard for me.
You were right.
Uh, that was my project manager.
Uh, it turns out that we did not consult an environmental biologist, but we will now, thanks to you.
Oh.
Is [STAMMERS.]
Is that, is that gonna cause a-a huge delay? It's gonna be what it's gonna be, and that's fine 'cause I want to do this right.
Thank you.
No, thank you.
You know, this has actually, um, been one of the most honest conversations I've had in a really long time.
Here is a toast to honesty, emotions, and salamanders.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Minoan magic.
These are Cretan hieroglyphics, which put Egyptian hieroglyphics to shame in their obscurity.
Mm, there it is, the figurine.
Yeah, I knew it looked familiar.
It appears your father absconded with the Stone of Atreus.
It's reputed to guard the island of Crete from unwanted forces.
So it's a protection totem.
Ironic.
Dads they're supposed to be our protection totems, and ours keeps throwing us into traffic.
Okay, so how do we undo what it did to the house? It says the Stone clings to its thief, like a tick to a sheep.
Annoying, but not terrible.
No, wait.
Except the Stone has a remorseless magical guardian, the Fury.
And its sole purpose is to recover that stone.
So, the man with the hat following Ray is not a hit man.
He's a hit monster.
[LOW GROWLING.]
There's a darkness inside of me RAY: That's Orion.
The hunter, Little Bug.
He's brave and he's strong.
Just like you.
Like magnets work, only drawn [PHONE BUZZING.]
So we keep circling Low pH to the rescue.
[CHUCKLES.]

A new study in Scientific Reports presents the earliest direct evidence of fiber technology, AKA using plants in the wild to create yarn. And those textile traces from 41,000 to 52,000 years ago didn’t come from our own species: Researchers found the evidence in parts of Europe that were Neanderthal stomping grounds during that time.

This is a big deal for a handful of reasons. It’s not every day that archaeologists come across perishable artifacts like hair or plant products, which degrade much more quickly than pottery, rocks, or bone. The study’s authors used microscopy and spectroscopy to reveal a six-millimeter-long cord fragment made of three bundles of twisted fibers. These fibers could’ve been from a handle on the tool or some kind of net or bag.

For something that seems so simple, yarn is actually a complicated piece of technology, says study author and Kenyon College anthropologist Bruce Hardy.
