Influence in ex colonies in Africa and their independence from the Crown. He is beloved by fake right and all flavors of left in Canada. He invited Trudeau to his island for Christmas just prior to Trump taking office and another one of his guests was John Kerry. According to PM selfie, they discussed the incoming Trump administration and world affairs. He is connected to the Clinton Foundation, he is a close friend of the Queen and a "role model" for her sons and heirs. It doesn't matter what scandal you look into, this guy is always on the periphery. If you search, you will find photos of all sorts of elite bending the knee to this guy.
