To be fair to the millennials, they don't have the same opportunities have to be productive as previous generations did.

To me, that generation seems pretty disconnected from production - of anything. And any idea about what production is.

They'll scream about "blood diamonds" - on their smartphones - but not give a second thought to what it cost (in human and other terms) to produce the rare-earth minerals that the phone requires.

A generation of "priest class" pontificators, who do little to produce, is something that's going to be hard to recover from.

Maybe production is unimportant, going forward. But a human who has never sowed then reaped is missing lots of the human experience. And doesn't deserve much of my ear.
