Never been to Crescent City but I have been to Eureka. And yes Eureka is a shithole to be sure. And yes if Crescent City looks the way it dies in the video it too is a shithole. As much as a shithole as Eureka is, though, it's paradise compared to Willow Creek- about 30 miles east Hell about anything in that highway from Eureka to about 10 miles west of Redding is scary. If ever driving in the highway from Eureka to Redding just keep driving until you get to Redding or at least until you're less than 10 miles from it and don't get out, and definitely don't go anywhere off the highway. |

Also to add there's a couple towns up in the hills Southwest of Medford Oregon that are pretty creepy and trashy too. |

Quoting: Luisport Looks like the low pressure center passed between Crescent City CA and Brookings OR. When the low center made landfall winds were WSW at Crescent City and ENE in Brookings. Pressure was slightly lower at Crescent City. Just curious where exactly in Oregon are Brookings and Crescent City? Also where is Cape Blanco? I heard people mention of Medford, Coos Bay and Newport and I heard of and know where those cities are, but never heard of Brookings, Crescent City or Cape Blanco. Crescent City is in Louisiana. It's a nickname for New Orleans. Also a city in northern California. Just south of the Oregon border. Friend from russia lived there for years. The ironic thing is , you were probably in far more danger playing in your yard back then than you would be now it's not that bad things didn't happen, but there was no CNN 24 news cycle or internet to publicize every little thing that happened that's nostalgia for you -- things back then were no more perfect than now, just 'better' maybe |
