Anonymous Coward User ID: 78206465 Brazil 11/28/2019 12:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Iam ambivalent after a lot of research. Both sides of the debate have anomalies.... Quoting: anonymous kiwi 73431310 The flat earthers state that the UN Flag is the true map of earth and that Antarctic is actually a large ice wall encircling the land and sea. There appear to be no credible evidence of anyone ever circling the globe by air from North and South route. Firing a rocket to escape high enough to hit the "DOME" is not really feasible .... HOWEVER Flat earthers why not try and circumnavigate Antarctica.. The flat earth narrative is that Captain Cook attempted this but travelled for months and over 42000 miles and didnt come back to the starting point. Replicating this voyage is doable and provable to end the debate one way or another Heard of Operation Fishbowl???? Now go down to the FIsh N Chip show and order us some Chinesesese..Ok |

It is a feasible certain proof and affordable. |

This is 100% irrefutably impossible on a flat earth, bottom line, no ifs and or buts about it! Case is already closed |

The closer it gets, the more of the cloud you see touching the horizon. Eventually the whole system is off of the horizon completely and floating in the sky where you can see the whole thing. Start with it's weakest magnification(working stronger as needed), and see if you can see a continent that is far enough away, that it should be obscured by the curvature of the earth. If you can't, it proves there is at least a curvature to earth. If you can, it's flat as a pancake. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71422938 I agree no one has as yet been able to do that distance but hundreds of experiments of this nature have been done that objects are seen far beyond what should be on a globe the supposed size of earth. It is one of the easiest proven anomalies. |
